Long-term Targets
- To be mortgage free by 2028. Without overpayment mortgage will end in 2043.
- To have a secure full time position in a job I like. (Not going or love here, like will do) =]
- To weigh 8 stone.
- To give up working weekends.
- Go to Glastonbury in 2013!
- Run the London marathon one day (i.e when I am fit enough) with OH.
- Create a recipe book with nice/cheep meals.
- Set a date for our wedding.
- Be able to pay for our wedding without taking out a loan or extending the mortgage.
- To have brought our first home.
- To have a newer reliable car for me.
- To have a newer reliable car for OH.
- Have a garden full of plants which grow food of some sort.
Targets from July 2011- July 2012
- Overpay mortgage by £1,000.
- Save £1,000.
- Get a full time position. (This may take longer than a year)
So Far this Year I have:
Money
- Become a god parent.
- Had a lovely holiday with OH to Cornwall.
- Got an interview for a full time position at my work and got through to final selection!
- Seen a house we love. (Hopefully exchange contracts soon.)
Money
- Create a list of money saving challenges to keep me motivated add this to blog too!
- Sort through all my things sell on ebay or do a car boot! (By end of year)
- Overpay mortgage every month with additional income.
- Meal plan every-week.
- Buy/make own nice draft excluders.
- Create a little herb garden and veg plot in garden.
- Complete Induction Award.
- Complete any additional training offered. (Attending Conflict management and alcohol and drug awareness)
- To have gained some form of contract/salary from college or otherwise.
- To spend three hours doing something "crafty a week." i.e a tutorial or some sort. This is to be documented on here.
- Create a compliments page on Word or similar.
- Create an Esty account.
Create a Flickr account.- Buy a sewing machine.
- Volunteer in places to gain experience in welfare?
- Make my presence known at work- Say hello to everyone I see- Make more of an effort.
- Go to all staff meetings and training.
Relationships-Other
- To host a house warming party.
- Purchase a nice address book and enter as many people's addresses.
- Send each family member a birthday card.
- Write or e-mail both my grannies/ and maybe Chris's nan and granddad once a month.
- Send Auntie Margaret a letter.
- While living at home cook tea once a week.
- Do one household chore a day.
- Sort through photo albums.
- Get at least eight hours sleep a night where possible.
- Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
- Cut out as much artificial food as possible.
- Get down to my ideal BMI of 8st.
- Use mouthwash twice a day.
- Take a multi vitamin and zinc vitamin once a day.
- Set a limit for using the internet everyday.
- Spend a min of 30 mins a week doing Wii yoga to help posture.
- Exercise three times a week.
- Maintain visiting the dentist every six months.
- Run in the London marathon with OH one day.
- Go to see a local stand up comedian.
