Little Miss Money

Money, money money....
So since venturing out into the grown up world of house buying, I have begun to realize how expensive running a house actually is! Hence this year I am going to experiment with making money in a variety of legal ways. (See below.)
I will be marking down my profit for these tasks throughout the year with a short review which I may also feature on the blog itself. I hope to add some useful advise which may be of use to the money saving converts out there!

Challenges for 2011:

E-bay/Amazon: £10.00

Quidco: £0.08

Surveys: £0.00

Mystery Shopping: £0.00

Competitions: 18x Dorset cereals

Daily clicks: £0.00

Etsy/Folksy: £0.00

Gifts: £0.00
For this category you still have to buy gifts obviously, but if you can slash your initial cost, i.e for my mum's mother's day present I may spend £20 if I can reduce this by making something by hand getting a bargain at the car boot great! Take the initial costing off the gift away from the actual cost paid.

Cash-back: £0.00
Cash-back sites will give you a small percentage of what you spend back into your bank account. Only work's if you were going to buy the item in the first place. Do not buy an item purely because of the % of cash-back as unfortunately there can be errors and you may not receive your money for that particular purchase.

Road kill/ Unexpected Cash: £13.11
Finding money on the floor down the sofa etc note* this does not mean stealing! I have now changed my roadkill to include cash that I wasn't expecting, so for instance I put a pound on a sweepstake at work, I won it so I put this money in my penny jar minus the pound I paid to enter. Any unexpected cash goes here too.
