Job Hunt

Day off today, unfortunately I am now getting too many days off! I need to get a new job sigh.*

I have been thinking of other ways I can up my income but really the fact of the matter is I need another job. I still am thinking of completing a course in web design, I could always try and get some freelance work with my Graphic design skills but I'm really scared of doing this!

Had a search today and there's only one permanent job I want to go for but I doubt I will get it due to lack of experience, I'll try though. The rest are all temp jobs. So frustrating I really feel for anyone who is job hunting I hate it, it's so boring!
I feel like going to uni, getting the good job I have now is all a bit of a waste in some ways. Where I am at the moment I work in term times, I don't get paid for holidays hence the job hunt, I'm getting fed up of having no contract. My plan is to now get a full time job with a contract it may not be exactly what I want but it will have to do, I may complete that evening course in web design and start my empire off that way.

House hunt!

Hello all again!

Sorry to have let this blog go! Me and my partner have been house hunting and what a nightmare it is!!! We have had no luck what so ever, it also doesn't help that we are both so fussy and we want a bit of a bargain hoping for something we can do up. Still looking!

In relation to money saving etc I would say obviously there is a lot of money to spend unfortunately but research research! Use the net and phone companies to get quotes for surveyors, solicitors, life insurance, buildings insurance all of it! I have been surprised at the amount you can save if you can be bothered to look, as yes it does take a bit of time and it is boring! But the savings are worth it.

Anyway back to the hunt!

Alice in Wonderland Theme

I saw these cute candle cups, whilst on folksy I was thinking how amazing would these look as table decorations for a wedding! I would use lots of different types of cups and colours, designs etc... Would link really well with a Alice in Wonderland theme.
I love Alice in Wonderland I'd love to do something like this! But not too Alice in Wonderland a toned down version.
There is so much imagery you could use, you could have croquet on the lawn, queen of hearts, flowers, the cheshire cat, those bird things. Lots of imagery!

Ooohhh I can then wear that fantabulus short wedding dress I have seen eeee!

DIY Gift Bows- I did actually make these! =D

Rating: 5 star
Difficulty: Easy peasy!
Cost: Virtually Free (if you use recycled papers)
Time: 25 mins per bow (I'm sure this could be reduced with use of a guillotine)

These Bows were so easy to make! For a full tutorial please visit how abut about orange.
What I really love about these little gems is the sheer possibilities and variety you can introduce, colours, textures, added personalization, size, shape etc etc!
